Recycling Hand/Sorter

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor of the recently refurbished Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland Materials Recovery Facility (MRF).

We have positions available across day, afternoon & night shifts.

Shift times are as follows:

Day shift: 5am - 1pm

Afternoon shift: 1pm - 9pm

Night shift: 9pm - 5am

We are looking for Full-time Recycling Hands/Sorters who are able to work rotating shifts across day, afternoon & night shifts at our brand new site located in Onehunga NZ!

Please note, you may be required to have full time flexibility as you may be required to work day, afternoon or night shift.

About the role:

• Sort recyclable materials from a conveyor belt
• Remove waste so it does not damage plant equipment or the product
• Check materials and sort into designated areas by type, size, condition, or colour
• Report system problems immediately to management

About you:

• You think about safety first
• You have a 'can do' attitude
• Forklift (LF) or Front end loader ticket would be highly desirable but not mandatory
• You are hands on in your work.
• You are available to have full availability including weekends
