Role: Refrigeration Technician

Role overview

Our client is a well -established refrigeration and HVAC service provider in the horticulture and commercial sectors. They are urgently looking for an experienced technician due to strong business growth.

Key responsibilities

- Installation of commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems

- Routine servicing, preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs

- Safe refrigerant handling in line with compliance standards

- Client communication and job documentation

- Participation in on -call breakdown roster

- Minimum 2 years experience in refrigeration; industrial experience strongly preferred

- Kiwifruit packhouse or industrial cold storage background is a significant advantage

- Relevant trade qualification (Refrigeration Technician or Electrician)

- EST registration or willingness to obtain

- Refrigerant handling licence or willingness to gain

- Competitive hourly rate based on experience

- Guaranteed 40+ hours per week

- Company vehicle and phone provided

- On -call allowance when rostered
