CoolLogic is a specialist commercial and industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning company providing design, installation, maintenance and service to manufacturers, processors, coolstore operators, commercial buildings, hotels and education facilities.

CoolLogic Refrigeration Limited is a member of the Horizon Energy Group. We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to maintain and service the refrigeration, systems on some large commercial projects across Tauranga. There are some very cool projects in the pipeline!

Reporting to the Service Manager, the purpose of this role is:

• Efficiently, effectively, and safely carry out all planned maintenance, reactive or remedial service work, fault diagnostics and installation works relating to industrial refrigeration or mechanical plant.
• Working unsupervised, or as part of a team, to deliver high quality refrigeration and mechanical trade service work
• Requires an individual with the willingness to work flexible hours and the ability to manage their own time in order to meet deadlines.

To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience:

• Completed an apprenticeship and hold a Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Level 4)
• Industrial and commercial refrigeration installation and maintenance experience
• Electrical Service Technician New Zealand Practising Licence
• Current NZ Manual Drivers Licence
• Demonstrated experience and skills in relevant trade area required:
• Installation and maintenance of refrigeration and mechanical plant
• Industrial and commercial refrigeration installation and maintenance
• Experience working within Health & Safety At Work Act 2015 guidelines
