  • Manage capital assets and plant operations, ensuring effective returns and safe usage.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with your team and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, growth, and enhanced performance.
  • Lead performance reviews, succession planning, and talent development with support from People & Culture.
  • Ensure site compliance with environmental, council, and government regulations.
  • Oversee scheduling of waste treatment, maintenance coordination, and team planning.
  • Foster a culture of safety through toolbox talks, operational monitoring, and proactive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Dangerous Goods License and experience working with DG and/or a background in Chemistry.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in chemical engineering, chemistry or operations management.

  • Confident decision-maker with a hands-on approach to operational leadership.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financial literacy and experience managing budgets in a complex, service-based business.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and results.
