Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating across New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Due to increased volumes, we have an exciting opportunity for a Pallet Coordinator to join our Auckland team in Favona!

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm

About the role - Mō te tūranga

The day-to-day tasks for this role will include coordinating and monitoring all aspects of pallets, keeping accurate and complete records of movements through the branches while working towards minimising rental costs.

Additional key duties below:

• Following health and safety policies
• Management of pallet accounts
• Pallet process training, development and compliance
• Ensuring a high level of customer service is achieved
• Accurate and timely record keeping
• Identifying, monitoring and improving equipment movements

What will you bring? – Ōu Pūkenga?

To succeed in this role, you will be able to communicate effectively and maintain good working relationships.

Additionally, you will need:

• At least 5 years’ experience in the Transport or Logistics industry
• Tertiary qualification in Transport or Logistics (preferred, not essential)
• Experience with pallet tracking (preferred, not essential)
• Strong knowledge of computer systems and information technology
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Experience with 2IC pallet software (preferred, not essential)
• Strong ability to analyse and interpret information
• Great communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude showing resilience and adaptability
• Excellent time management skills
