About The Role:

Reporting directly to the General Manager, your primary objective is to continue to strengthen relationships with our existing customer base and foster new business where possible. We are a sales and marketing company first and foremost and as the Regional Sales Manager you will be expected to uphold our corporate values whilst continuously going the extra mile for our customers in the relentless hunt for sales growth.  

You will be joining a talented and experienced sales team who work together to cover the country and make sure our products continue to lead their given categories. This role will involve managing a territory that includes customers from all walks of life; owner/operators, traditional retailers, plumbing merchants, DIY stores and commercial customers.  

If you’re serious about a career in sales where you will be working with great brands in an exciting and fast paced industry, then this is the position for you.

About You:

Experience in the kitchen appliance or plumbing/laundry sector would be highly sought after. Equally you may be experienced selling into DIY, plumbing or commercial merchant channels. In a position like this, attitude really is everything. If you are keen to learn and have the drive to succeed then this could be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Confidence and a willingness to learn
  • The ability to build rapport and close sales
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • The ability and drive to meet and exceed budget sales and margin
  • Commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • The ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels
  • An affinity with the product range and the retailer/commercial sales environment

We are ideally looking for the candidate to be based in Christchurch to serve as the main hub for this role. There is plenty of travel required with a 4 week call cycle for the South Island region.

Applicants will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and or a minimum of 5 years territory management experience. In return the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, corporate tools of trade, company car and bonus scheme.
