Job Description - Regional Sales Manager - Urgent Position

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our multidisciplinary team at Topcoat Specialist Coatings in Hamilton Central, Waikato.

The Company 

Topcoat Specialist Coatings are a recognised leader for over 30 years in the application of industrial specialist coatings – including epoxy floor coatings, resin toppings, waterproofing systems, protective coatings, intumescent fireproofing and concrete repairs. Topcoat is a well-established and growing business working across a diverse range of industries including dairy and construction.

The Role

Based in Hamilton, this diverse role requires someone who is driven, and target motivated with exceptional customer relations skills. You will have the ability to read situations and people in order to prospect, identify and seize opportunity. Travel will be required to reach full client base. 

The Key Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with Sales Director and Business Development Manager to meet agreed targets 
  • Develop and generate business through our agreed targeted approach
  • Build and maintain client relationships with new and existing clients
  • Management of the quotes and tenders through Procore – following up with clients (calls, face to face, emails) and actioning requirements in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on any sales enquires that come through via website or phone
  • Report on opportunities, quotes, and accepted revenue. Update forecast.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote the companies service offerings and maximise brand recognition. 
  • Work closely with the QS and Operations teams
  • Participate in training and upskilling opportunities

The Key Skills & Experience 

  • Proven sales qualification and/or experience
  • Experience and relationships in the construction/flooring industry 
  • Product and system knowledge within flooring industry including concrete repairs, specialist coatings applications, waterproofing etc
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Team player who understands and can relate to all stakeholders
