Registered Health Professional (Contractor)

Healthvision is on the lookout for a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to provide care to our service users through various contracts with ACC and MOH. You will join a multidisciplinary team that provides services across NZ. This role can be based either in the Waikato or Bay of Plenty region. 

We are looking to engage with a Registered Health Professional to work as a consultant to our business and provide specialist clinical services to people in the community.

About the role:

As a community-based role, we are seeking someone who will share our passion for supporting kiritaki to remain in their homes and participate in their daily lives in the community. The ideal candidate will possess a dynamic, passionate approach to community care and rehabilitation.

In this role (Job Responsibilities)

• You will have a working knowledge of neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation types.
• You will have skills to complete assessments, report writing and support planning.
• You will the wider Healthvision services to deliver high quality care.
• You will be hands on with Community Support Worker training and competencies.
• You will enable our kiritaki to live their best lives.
• You will work holistically using with a philosophy of people helping people and will have a strong local knowledge of the NZ health system.
• You will have the ability to communicate with primary and secondary healthcare and an understanding of ACC and MOH community contracts is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have (candidate Pre -Requisites) :

• Most importantly - a passion for helping people in the community.
• Previous experience working in the community.
• Current registration and NZ practising certificate
• The ability to work autonomously with a strong solution focus
• Strong and positive communication skills
• Ability to work in a complex and changing environment
• Critical thinking
• Full Drivers license
• Must have the right to work legally in NZ
