Situated in the heart of Hamilton, our Kaupapa Māori secondary-level mental health team is dedicated to assisting tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau in making significant life changes. We seek New Zealand Registered Clinicians experienced in supporting tamariki and rangatahi with complex social and mental health challenges.

This position demands exceptional communication skills, coupled with a supportive, respectful, and conscientious approach. Understanding the challenges faced by individuals with lived experience, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

Moo maatou – Our Organisation

We are the only Kaupapa Maaori NGO service supporting youth in specialty mental health care in the Waikato.  We believe having a diverse workforce allows us to best support individuals and their whanau.  The ability to speak Te Reo Maaori is not a prerequisite.  However, if you have a desire to understand and support Tikanga Maaori and are open to learning, this role will offer you an opportunity to grow within a Kaupapa Maaori environment.

To be considered for this position you must have a legal right to live and work in New Zealand.  Working in close contact with vulnerable individuals requires special considerations. Therefore, we advise employees to keep their vaccinations current and to take reasonable precautions to safeguard themselves, as well as to protect whānau and fellow colleagues.
