An exciting opportunity has presented for a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Community Mental Health and Addictions service in Napier.

Community Mental Health & Addiction Services North (Napier) are looking for a Registered Nurse with:

  • Experience and passion for working alongside people with Mental Health and Addictions issues.
  • A practitioner that advocates for their patients and works with a recovery-based model.
  • Passion and drive to make a difference.
  • Promote positive mental health promotion and improve outcomes for people with Mental Health and Addictions issues.
  • Show initiative with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  • Excellent clinical skills.
  • Willingness to contribute to the on-going development of the service.
  • Able to work in a supportive multidisciplinary team and work autonomously.
  • Excellent assessment and intervention skills to work effectively with people and their families.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Well-developed time management skills
  • Cultural awareness that is incorporated into your practice.
  • Current New Zealand Registration
  • Full driver's licence
  • You will play a vital role in the delivery of care to people who experience moderate to severe to mental health issues in the community.
