Registered Nurse - Community Palliative Care NurseLocation:Work Type: Full time Salary: $37 - $40 /hr + Additional Leave allowances Competitive salary $37-$40p/h Work/life balance - Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm - No weekends Community based role, working with a passionate and dedicated team As a RN you will develop your skills whilst providing quality care to patients and their families within the palliative care space in their own homesCompetitive salary $37-$40p/hWork/life balance - Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm - No weekendsCommunity based role, working with a passionate and dedicated team As a Registered Nurse you will work in the community, and have a genuine passion for palliative care work, and together with a MDT you strive to care for improve the lives of your patients each day and support their families with kindness empathy.This organisation is looking to grow their community based teams, and has vacancies in both Porirua and Newtown or a flexi role that covers Wellington, Porirua and Kapiti.What's on offer: Award winning wellbeing programme including annual wellness allowance and wellness dayAdditional 5 days carers leave annuallySupportive and close knit team environmentFull time - 32hrs per week, no weekendsOpportunities for growth, development and career progression What you need to have: Current Drivers licence and APCPalliative care experience or want to develop skills in this area (Support will be provided for the right person)Ability to work effectively and respectfully in both a team and solo settingAbility to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing across diverse culturesFully vaccinated against COVID-19 with approved vaccine, including booster vaccination What you need to do: Ensure appropriate care is catered towards each individual patient and their whanau's needsCoordinate multiply disciplines to provide the best patient and whanau careMake initial assessments of patient needs and requirementsMeet patients healthcare needs and maximise patients quality of lifeHave a commitment to continuously improve your own knowledge and skills
