Registered Nurse - Fast Hire

Opportunities are now open for Registered Nurses to join our amazing team and work in our mixed model Urgent Care and General Practice clinic.  The successful candidate will share in achieving our purpose to exceed our patients expectations. 

Experience in Urgent Care or Practice Nursing is desirable, however a training package is provided.  You do need to be hard working, a team player and have a passion for providing quality patient care.  Opportunities to learn include suturing, plastering, ring blocks, IV administration, IV cannulation, and wound care. You will have the option to also be able to be trained as a practice nurse to support the medical needs of our enrolled population.  

Our opening hours are 0800 to 2000 hours which provides the opportunity to finish work at a respectable hour and improve your work life balance – we take health and wellness of our staff seriously.  And there is free parking close by.  

Key responsibilities will involve:

• A current New Zealand practicing certificate
• Your practice aligns with the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Prior experience in a medical centre is desirable
• Competent in areas of nursing in primary healthcare
• Willing to continually learn and improve
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build strong rapport with team members
• Confident, friendly and approachable.
• You will ideally hold current CPR certificate
• Independent vaccinator is desirable
• Computer literate
• Legal right to live and work in New Zealand
• Medtech Evolution is the program we use but happy to train the right candidate
• Consistently accurate and a quick learner
