You can make an impact on your community and on your own professional development – all whilst enjoying a flexible and healthy work-life balance.About the role:You will be required to work independently and as part of a team across multiple departments within Whangarei Hospital providing short term clinical support.With opportunities to undertake short-term contracts covering annual leave, sick leave or short-term vacancies also available.Tasks will include day to day supporting of safe care for patients and their whanau by assisting with delegated activities and supporting maintenance of a safe, pleasant, and functioning environment as part of the healthcare delivery team.To begin with we require a good knowledge base, and we will orientate you to our specialty areas.Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and holds stewardship for equitable health outcomes for Māori as Tāngata Whenua as the highest priority.We have multiple permanent positions starting from 0.6 FTE i.e 24 hours per week upto 1.0 FTE i.e 40 hours per week depending on your preferences.What we can offer you: * Flexibility of start times * An opportunity to work in a variety of settings or to choose an area where you have skills or interests * Orientation working alongside a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting * We will offer you specialty area orientation along with ongoing professional development.
