About us:

MedPro Healthcare (NZ) Ltd has been providing health services to workplaces since 2004. In the last 5 years we have experienced considerable growth and are expanding the services we offer. We are now wholly owned by Southern Cross Healthcare.

We work in the fast-growing area of workplace health, providing our services to a large number of organizations across Aotearoa.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to support our team in  Wellington

Full training will be provided for all of our services including inhouse orientation and ongoing professional development.

This role varies day to day and can include:

• Flu vaccinations to well adults during the vaccination season April, May & June
• Wellness checks in the workplace across Wellington or in MedPro clinics covering June - March
• Travel to workplaces within the Wellington area - City, Lower hutt, Petone etc

Qualifications & experience:

• You will enjoy working autonomously and within a wider team in Wellington
• You will need to be flexible, friendly and self-motivated
• IT capability is a must
• Own car & drivers license is essential due to the nature of the role
• Primary care or vaccination experience is an advantage
• Current NZ Nursing Council Registration & CPR Certificate 
• New grads welcome to apply 
• For Flu Work you will need to do the IMAC Vaccination course and arrange clinical sign off to be an Authorized Vaccinator. 

Hours:

• No set hours for a casual role. We work with your available dates and our demand for work and pre plan 2 - 4 weeks ahead + last minute nurse cover where required. Ideal Candidate would like 2 - 3 days a week. 
• No Weekend work.
