Registered Nurses 

24 to 72 hours a fortnight available

We are looking amazing Registered Nurses (YOU!) to join the Inpatient Unit team (the best team!).

Hospice Waikato provides high quality, patient focused, palliative care, for Waikato people living with a terminal condition and their whaanau. We have a great culture, and our leaders genuinely care for our people and making this an awesome place to work – they even muck in to provide staff appreciation lunches each quarter. This is a great opportunity to work interprofessionally with our incredible on site medical team and allied health teams. 

You will use your incredible skills to provide respite, symptom management and end of life care to our patients and their whaanau.

• A current RN Practising Certificate

Day to day our team give the best possible care to our patients, we have the time to sit and be with our patients, we also get the opportunity to work with some pretty exciting wounds! We are fast paced, we don’t twiddle our thumbs, and our days are never the same. 

We aren’t the end of the road for all our patients, many of our patients do walk in and walk back out again once we’ve given them the IPU experience.
