About the role:
Must have full joint replacement experience. Please note if you don't have this experience we will be unable to get back to you in a timely manner.

Working alongside Auckland's top Orthopaedic surgeons and a awesome Charge Nurse, join the inpatient team at their 30 bed elective surgical orthopaedic ward in a private hospital setting. You are able to choose your FTE across a 24/7 roster whilst enjoying the festive season off.

What you have to do:

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for each patient, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Patient assessment and monitoring: conduct comprehensive assessments, closely monitor patients' conditions, and promptly respond to any changes or concerns.
• Medication administration and pain management
• Documentation and charting: Accurate and timely documentation is essential. You will maintain comprehensive patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Skills and Experience:

• New Zealand Registered Nurse with current APC
• At least 2 years current experience in orthopaedic nursing-MUST have joint replacement experience
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs
