Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We are seeking an Assurance Advisor to provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to the Manager Risk Office in the development and continuous improvement of the University’s assurance programme encompassing internal audit, unusual transaction analysis, fraud prevention & detection, whistleblower investigations, conflict of interest, and Audit and Risk Committee reporting.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract. Salary range is $85,000-$101,000 plus benefits.

Risk Office is responsible for development and implementation of the University’s risk management framework, crisis and incident management processes, oversight of insurance and audit, and development of capability in the University’s risk and assurance community.
He kōrero mōu | About you
We are seeking someone with 3 to 5 years’ post graduate experience (assurance, business processes, risk, compliance). It is essential that you have a relevant tertiary qualification and a finance background.
You will thrive in this role if you understand the tertiary education sector or have research and innovation experience. Your ability to engage and develop capability with stakeholders across different levels will make your application stand out.
