As a Senior Security Specialist, you’ll be supporting the Manawa Integration workstreams, working closely with our permanent Senior Security Specialist and the wider Security & Infrastructure team. Your focus will be on aligning security practices, identifying risks, and enabling the business to make informed decisions – all while helping ensure a seamless and secure transition.

Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role

What you’ll be doing:

• Diving deep into Manawa’s security landscape and comparing it with Contact’s systems and practices.
• Advising on risk and security controls, helping the business understand and navigate change.
• Supporting the development and implementation of pragmatic security frameworks.
• Collaborating across teams to ensure security is an enabler, not a blocker.
• Helping build trust and consultative relationships with stakeholders.

Ko wai koe | About you

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in Information Security, Risk Management, or Audit – ideally in large, complex environments.
• A solid understanding of risk frameworks and how to have meaningful risk conversations.
• The ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
• Exposure to organisational change – whether you’ve led it, supported it, or observed it closely.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CCSK) and cloud platform knowledge (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).

Bonus points if you’re familiar with OT (Operational Technology) environments or more specifically, ICS (Industrial Control Systems).
