Join our Digital Marketing team!


We’re looking for a talented Social Media Specialist to lead and grow our social media presence. You’ll lead the planning, creation, and delivery of both organic and paid content, develop our social media strategy, and manage our online community. You’ll be responsible for growing our audience, boosting engagement, and using analytics to continuously improve performance.


 


A key part of your role will also include running paid advertising campaigns, optimising content for different platforms, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to bring powerful stories to life. This is a hands-on, creative role where your work directly contributes to improving mental health outcomes across Aotearoa.


 


This role is perfect for someone who loves content creation, community engagement, and crafting campaigns that make a real difference in people’s lives. 


 


What you will do



  • Develop and implement our social media strategy and annual content calendar

  • Create compelling content that aligns with our brand and supports our campaigns

  • Manage and optimise paid social media ads (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and more)

  • Engage with our online community and support moderation policies

  • Analyse performance metrics and use data to improve results

  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation and external partners to tell powerful stories

You will have  



  • Senior experience in social media marketing, including paid campaign management

  • Strong understanding of audience targeting and analytics

  • Held a strategic content management role

  • Design flair and content creation skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar)

  • Strategic thinking paired with a hands-on, get-things-done attitude

  • Willingness to be creative and engage with others both within and outside fo the organisation to help bring their stories to life.

  • A commitment to te Tiriti o Waitangi and a willingness to engage with te ao Māori


 


Experience in the NGO or public health space is a bonus – but if you’re values-driven, passionate about mental wellbeing, and ready to bring our mission to life online, we’d love to hear from you.
