Due to a recent internal transition of one of our valued Software Testers, we now have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Intermediate Tester to join our dynamic Consulting Business Unit. This role will suit someone with a keen eye for detail, a willingness to ask questions, and the ability to challenge assumptions.

The Opportunity:
You will be testing our software applications prior to their release to ensure the development meets specifications. You will also ensure that defects/issues found are accurately logged, tracked, and resolved as soon as practicable to provide high-level services to both our clients and customers.
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Prepare and maintain test plans and test cases in accordance with client specifications • Prepare test scripts—both manual and automated • Perform functional testing across different test levels: component, integration, system, and acceptance—to ensure high-quality releases • Execute test plans, monitor test execution, and ensure that sufficient testing is carried out prior to go-live • Carry out other testing tasks as agreed upon with the Test Manager
Our Ideal Test Analyst will demonstrate the following attributes:
Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing (manual and automated) • Technical Skills: Experience in functional testing across different test levels: component, integration, system, and acceptance. Experience in writing automated tests and working in an Agile environment will be beneficial. Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential • Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance best practices. Knowledge of ISTQB would be beneficial, along with a high attention to detail and accuracy • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to catch bugs others might miss, as well as the ability to explain them concisely—both verbally and in written form • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document and discuss defects clearly • Analytical Thinking: The ability to read and understand formal technical specifications, recognize faults and ambiguities, think critically, and troubleshoot issues effectively • Qualification: A relevant tertiary degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field)
