What you'll be doing

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Researcher to join our innovative team in Auckland, New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis on various aspects of vehicle performance, safety, and emerging automotive technologies.

• Acquire, interpret and compile specification and car pricing data to enter manufacturer price, used price data, specification and (images if/when applicable) in a timely, accurate and comprehensive manner for the car vertical.
• Request missing data from manufacturers/distributors.
• Assist the Research and Pricing Manager to resolve data issues.
• Manage the accurate used and new pricing data of cars.
• Manage the images database and load images of vehicles.
• Provide back-up to the team to cover motorcycle data stewardship and other motor vehicle portfolios.
• Proactively help drive the culture of continuous improvement within the RedBook NZ team.

What we are looking for

• Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously).
• In depth knowledge and passion of car brands and industry relationships.
• An analytical thinker who’s comfortable working with data and has a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and ERP systems.
