Job Description - Resource Manager

NPE-Tech has an opportunity for Resource Managers based in our New Plymouth, Tauranga, and Palmerston North teams. We are an established and reputable local company who are part of the Feisst Group Team, providing exciting growth and career opportunities.


 


This will be a vital role to ensure the successful delivery of work under our new Powerco CDSA Contract


 


The opportunity:
NPE-Tech has recently been awarded one of the Customer Delivery Services Contracts across all four of Powerco’s regions, commencing on 1st September 2025. We are seeking Resource Managers who will oversee field resources, including personnel, plant, and equipment. This role will ensure that work is planned, scheduled, and delivered efficiently, safely, and profitably, delighting our customers and clients.




Some key tasks include:



  • Scheduling of forward work

  • Job setup and management in our works management system

  • Pastoral care of staff to continue our great culture

  • Approval of timesheets and contractor invoices onto correct job numbers

  • Incident and event management

  • Reporting of job progress and profitability

  • Toolbox meetings and communication with staff

  • Ensure plant and equipment is compliant for use

  • Training and coaching of field staff


 


What we're looking for:


 


Candidates with 



  • High degree of understanding and experience in the electrical contracting industry

  • Fully conversant with PowercO standards and requirements

  • Strong operational understanding of all aspects of an electrical contracting business

  • Excellent people leader to get the best from your team

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • Strong financial acumen to understand drivers and improvement opportunities

  • Strong change leader to navigate the journey with Powerco


 


Previous experience in a similar industry will be an advantage.
