Restaurant & Bar Supervisor

Waipuna Hotel (now part of the Prime Hotels) has been operating for 50 years and just keeps getting better. We value and look after our team so that they will do the same for our customers (and it shows in our guest feedback and repeat customers).  We are currently looking for a part-time (24 hours) Restaurant and Bar Supervisor to join our 'Wellingtons Restaurant', at Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre.  We are based in Mount Wellington.

About the Role

• Wellingtons Restaurant is all about eating great food and getting great service, so you need to live by these values.


• Provide tailored service to restaurant and conference guests
  
  
  
  • Taking orders/payments, interacting with guests, delivering food and beverages, cleaning and maintaining dining and service areas (conference included), allocating tasks and supervising frontline staff, assisting the restaurant manager with general supervisory tasks.
  
  
  
  


• Wellingtons Restaurant also caters to a wide range of F&B services to support our hotel & conference guests, including
  
  
  
  • room service;
  
  
  • special events (such as High tea, and other promotions);
  
  
  • set-ups and and service for in-restaurant conference guests
  
  
  
  

What we need from you:

• At least one years supervisory experience within a Hotel or Restaurant is essential


• Barista experience will be preferred


• LCQ is essential


• Be a team player and excellent communicator & delegator


• Have a positive can do attitude and bring your best every day
