About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at Captain Morgans. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful business. This role involves ensuring operational efficiency, financial profitability, and a high level of staff performance. Some key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Overseeing the daily operations to ensure efficient service.
  • Maintain high standards of product quality, presentation and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and maximise profitability.
  • Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage restaurant staff.
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional activities.

About you

  • Previous experience as a supervisor or manager in a restaurant setting.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and management.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
  • Proficient in financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software (e.g. POS systems).
