Retail Assistant (Part Time) - New World Halswell

We are a large Supermarket located in a competitive area, seeking innovative and customer-focused team members to join our Dry Goods Departments. As a member of our team, the primary focus will be on delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers, playing a crucial role in ensuring access to a wide variety of quality Grocery/Dairy/Liquor products.

Successful candidates will be required to provide excellent customer service, maintain a positive attitude, thrive under pressure, and exhibit physical agility and positivity. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to cultivate relationships with regular customers, providing them with the exceptional experience they deserve. We seek individuals knowledgeable about Dry Goods operations with a genuine passion for food and customer service.

The key responsibilities of these positions include: 

• Delivering exceptional customer service 
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg 
• Maintaining stock levels and presentation standards
• Implementation of Food and Health and Safety requirements

Personal attributes required are: 

• Ability to work well within a team and independently 
• Reliable, organised and have good time management skills
• Willingness to learn

There are two part time positions available, please indicate in your covering letter which one you would like to be considered for. 

The hours for the roles are: 

Role 1: 

• Friday : 4.00pm-11.00pm
• Sunday : 2.00pm-11.00pm 

Role 2: 

• Saturday : 2.00pm-11.00pm
