Retail Lead

We’re looking for a confident, people-focused Retail Lead to be based at our Winton clinic. This is a full-time leadership role, supporting and leading our retail and customer service teams across Winton, Otautau, and Lumsden. 

You’ll be someone who enjoys leading from the front, working alongside your team, supporting their growth, and helping deliver a friendly, professional experience for every client who walks through our doors. This role plays a big part in shaping the retail experience across the West region.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Leading, coaching, and supporting retail and customer service teams across three clinics. 

• Building a positive, values-led team culture with a strong focus on learning and development. 

• Ensuring consistently high standards of friendly, professional customer service. 

• Driving retail sales performance and achievement of KPIs. 

• Ensuring retail and inventory policies and procedures are followed. 

• Working closely with clinical teams to support a strong and sustainable retail presence. 

• Supporting retail presentation, including seasonal and promotional displays.

• Have experience in retail sales and customer service, ideally in agri-related or veterinary environments. 

• Enjoy leading and developing people and working alongside your team. 

• Confident, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. 

• Have strong communication skills and build relationships easily. 

• Have an appreciation for rural NZ communities and seasonal farming needs.
