 Our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team helps organisations navigate uncertainty, strengthen resilience, and achieve their strategic objectives with confidence. We work alongside clients to identify, assess, and manage risks, enabling them to anticipate change, respond effectively to emerging challenges, and seize new opportunities.

Through this work, you will play a key role in improving organisational performance, resilience, and long-term value. 

We are seeking an Associate Director to join our team in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. This is a full-time, fixed-term position, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. 

Your day-to-day could include: 

  • Working alongside market leading GRC partners to deliver GRC services to clients including relationship management, business development and commercial management 

  • Scoping, managing and delivering GRC services such as: 

  • Assessing the maturity of governance, risk and compliance management practices,and developing clear strategies to achieve desired future state 

  • Developing or enhancing governance, risk management and compliance frameworks, building the trust and confidence of key internal and external stakeholders 

  • Supporting organizations to identify, assess and report risks, including through running workshops and developing high quality insights and reporting 

  • Leading, coaching and mentoring engagement teams and aiding their career development 

  • Teaming with other subject matter experts to blend GRC skills with other technical disciplines to bring tailored solutions to complex problems 

  • Providing subject matter expertise to diverse stakeholders including Executives, Board and Audit & Risk Committees

  • 7+ years' experience in GRC/risk, consulting, financial services advisory or related professional services environments.

  • Strong experience developing, implementing or assessing governance, risk and compliance structures and frameworks 

  • GRC experience in the financial services sector is preferred 

  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. 

  • Engaging workshop facilitator and presenter 

  • Proven experience maintaining long-term relationships with a broad network of stakeholders and clients, managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing appropriately
