RMA & Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description

As part of a team of six reporting to the Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager, your solution-focused mindset and practical experience will enable you to excel in the following daily tasks:

• Evaluate all RMAs (Return Materials Authorisations) and factory/warehouse faults.
• Assemble parts/accessories for sub-assemblies and finished goods.
• Draw up service/repair orders for Temperzone/Hitachi jobs for approval.
• Perform rework/repairs/service according to approved job orders.
• Provide quality assurance support for end-of-line production testing.
• Conduct QMS audits.
• Assist Quality Engineers with problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in servicing and repairing both commercial and domestic HVAC units.
• Trade Recognition Certificate: Refrigeration Mechanic or Technician
• Practical experience in testing, fault finding and repairs.
• 3-5 years of field experience or factory repairs.
• A valid Electrical Service Technician License
