Road Marking Operator

This role will be for the night shift - predominantly working 7pm to 5am.

Ross Roadmarkers are an Auckland based company specialising in all aspects of pavement markings for Local Authorities, NZTA, Roading & Civil engineering companies. Ross Roadmarkers are Auckland's only independent certified line marking company, with established relationships with all the major Contractors, retail outlets and utility companies. Ross Roadmarkers is part of the larger Traffitech Group.

Role & Responsibilities:

We currently have a vacancy for a permanent Road Marking Operator. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting a roadmarking crew with equipment and will manage and complete work according to job requirements/specifications. We offer a secure, progressive environment with remuneration commensurate with experience and skill levels.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

• Class 1 and 2 Vehicle Driving
• Assisting STMS and Roadmarking Operators
• Team leadership - setting the benchmark and leading by example
• Maintenance - checking equipment is in good working order
• Customer service/client liaison

We are looking for someone who has a Class 1 and 2 driver's licence, and a Dangerous Goods endorsement. STMS and/or TC qualifications are an advantage.

The successful candidate must pass drug, alcohol, medical and MOJ checks.
