About the Role Available

We currently have a Rope Access Technician position available, based in Auckland. 

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, duties include:

• Bridge inspection and maintenance off rope.
• Lighting and Communication tower inspections and maintenance off rope.
• Signage installation.
• Service and install of Building Maintenance Units (BMU's).
• Install and service abseil systems, rooftop walkways and handrails.
• Install ladder and Fall Arrest systems.
• Light duty construction.
• Service winches for the fire service.
• Collation of detailed reports
• Other related duties as required.

Minimum Guaranteed Hours of Work: 40hrs per week

Hourly Rate of Pay: Minimum $30 per hour to Maximum $35 per hour. 

What We Are Looking For 

• Rope Access Certification (IRATA L1, L2 or L3 OR NZ Rope NZQA L4) is essential. 
• Driver’s license is required. 
• Ideally, one year of experience in a Construction Trade is preferred.  
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly with teammates, employer, and clients. 
• An awareness of health and safety requirements is necessary. 

Training will be provided. 

Pay varies with level of experience.
