Sales and Account Manager - Bay of Plenty

Account & Relationship Management (Sales)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Account Manager to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales growth by targeting Body Corporates, Property Managers, Insurers and Consumers for Building and Construction Work. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication skills and a deep understanding of the real estate industry, building and construction and love every aspect of customer service with a mentality of going over, above and beyond to service clients and consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target key revenue segments to win Building and Construction Work. Identify key opportunities for growth and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
     
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and prioritize potential clients within the target market. Proactively seek out new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other sales techniques. Generate leads and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.
     
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including Body Corporates, Property Managers, Insurers, Consumers. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Serve as the main point of contact for clients and address any inquiries or concerns in a timely manner. Manage a portfolio of builders and assist in the Project Management of their work in conjunction with Head Office.
     
  • Product Knowledge and Education: Develop a deep understanding of the Real Estate Industry and Building and Construction to assist on overseeing construction projects in conjunction with Head Office. Educate clients on the features and benefits of our offerings, highlighting how they can add value to their business or property. Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to provide informed recommendations to clients.
     
  • Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients. Clearly articulate the value proposition of our products and services. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure new business opportunities.
     
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Track sales performance metrics and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies. Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
     

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Real Estate, Insurance, Building and Construction industry, including knowledge of Body Corporates, Real Estate Property Managers, Insurers and Consumer trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
