Sales and Design Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised, customer-focused individual to join our team. TDC Manufacturing is a leading Kitchen Manufacturer dedicated to providing high-quality products and innovative solutions to our customers. Supporting our Key Account Managers, no two days will be the same. The role covers Customer Service, Designing Kitchens, post-sales follow up, and assisting with marketing and new product projects.

Location: Auckland. Office based, near Auckland Airport, Monday to Friday.

Qualification: You may have a Draftsperson or similar qualification. Alternatively, you have a background in Sales or Customer Service in the residential products industry. Full training will be given so you can develop into the role. Most important is you enjoy engaging with customers and have excellent attention to detail. 

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting our Account Managers, responsibilities include:

  • Assist with daily handling of customer email and phone enquiries.
  • Producing accurate quotations for clients using our online system.
  • Preparing detailed 3D plans and specifications for customers.
  • Liaising with Operations where needed
  • Supporting Sales & Marketing initiatives and new product development and rollout.

What you will need for this role

  • Enthusiasm and a can-do attitude. 
  • A self-starter, with strong organisation, listening, and communication skills.
  • You may be stronger in one area over another, but you have a willingness to be trained and learn.
  • Accuracy with an eye for detail.
  • Great computer IT skills, adept with Microsoft office.

Preferable

  • Proven experience in kitchen design or CAD drawings (training can be provided if this is not your strength).
  • Familiar with reading house plans.
  • An affinity with being hands-on, you can assist with occasional display installs, or assembling and testing of prototypes.
