Job Description - Sales and Marketing Associate

Our client, a digital health software telehealth venture, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales and Marketing Associate to join our client's team.

This role is perfect for someone looking to start a career in sales and marketing, particularly within the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will assist in various sales and marketing activities, helping to drive business growth, secure partnerships, and increase brand awareness.

Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 10 AM - 6 PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support:

    • Assist with lead generation and prospecting activities.

    • Conduct research to identify potential customers and new market opportunities.

    • Help prepare sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.

    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.

  2. Marketing Activities:

    • Help develop sales & marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media content.

    • Assist in managing the company’s social media accounts, including posting updates and engaging with followers.

    • Create monthly blog or social posts as needed.

  3. Customer Engagement:

    • Assist in developing and executing customer engagement strategies.

    • Handle partner inquiries and feedback, ensuring a positive client experience.

    • Support the organization and execution of promotional events and trade shows.

  4. Performance Tracking:

    • Help track and measure the effectiveness of B2B sales campaigns (email, cold calls, etc.).

    • Provide regular reports on sales activities, performance, and partner feedback.

    • Utilize analytics tools to gain insights into marketing and sales performance.

  5. Business Development:

    • Own mass business development efforts: B2B & B2C.

    • Identify leads and close sales by pitching products/services and negotiating contracts.

    • Secure partnerships, onboard accounts, and develop accounts to produce more volume.

    • Research and implement database/mailing lists to be used as the foundation for data-driven sales programs.

    • Establish clear objectives and measure ROI of initiatives.

    • Work closely with marketing to design, plan, and deliver materials, including RFPs.

    • Perform ROI-driven analysis, track, measure, and constantly optimize programs for growth.

Qualifications:

  • AA/BS or equivalent experience

  • Previous experience in healthcare, sales, marketing, or customer service is a plus but not required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic understanding of sales and marketing, including social media platforms.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on new challenges.

  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail.

  • High level of integrity and ethics.

  • Demonstrate competency in the healthcare space.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

  • Experience with Hubspot, Constant Contact, Sales Force, MailChimp, LinkedIn, BookYourData, ZoomInfo, or ECW.

  • Ability to analyze business intelligence and translate findings into actionable insights.

  • Professional appearance, communication, and timeliness.

  • Proven track record of success in previous roles.
