Jarvis Equipment NZ Ltd is the first source for meat equipment and specialises in cutting and slaughtering equipment plus more. Jarvis' product line is sold and serviced worldwide through their affiliate locations and is based in Palmerston North for their New Zealand clientele.
Adhering to the highest standards of reputability and excellent service, Jarvis Equipment NZ Ltd are looking for a Sales and Services Technician to join their small, relaxed but hard-working team to promote, supply and maintain their equipment, based in the North Island.
The preferred candidate should ideally have a background in sales, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously, with a specific preference for experience in the meat industry.
Whilst having mechanical experience would be beneficial, it is important to highlight that the suitable candidate will undergo training to attain the essential skills for the position. This training will necessitate working from the Palmerston North branch for a specified duration.
As travel constitutes a crucial aspect of this position, it is essential for you to be at ease with frequent periods away from home on a consistent basis. The area of work will consist from Wellington to Whanganui, across to Gisborne area, down to Masterton and in between.
