Finance New Zealand Limited is one of New Zealand's leading commercial lending & asset finance adviser businesses. We work with companies across New Zealand, assisting our customers by providing advice as to the structuring of their finance & banking needs. We operate across segments including plant & machinery finance, asset leasing, property funding, and wider business finance.
We are a growing business, and a role exists in Finance New Zealand for an individual to join our team. The role could suit either:
- An individual with 18 months + experience in commercial or asset finance sales support / operations support looking for an opportunity to expand their role, or
- A high performing graduate looking to begin their career in financial services, banking, and commercial relationship sales management
Firstly, the role has key responsibilities focused on supporting our customer facing Business Finance Advisers in sourcing and funding new business volume, assisting with CRM management, deal support and settlement activities, assisting with deal structuring and credit assessment, and in dealing with day-to-day client interaction and administration.
Secondly, the role provides support to the Head Office team of Finance New Zealand including managing customer focused support activities, portfolio analytics, marketing support and general office support activities.
The role may provide a stepping stone to future customer focused sales roles within our business or the banking and commercial finance sectors. It provides a broad overview of the business & commercial banking and finance industries.
A successful candidate will have:
· A university degree in business, commerce, finance or a related discipline AND/OR relevant experience from working in an asset finance or business lending environment
· A sense of humor, positive outlook and self-confidence that will allow you to work positively within a small team
· An organized work style with the ability to manage a busy work environment, to self-manage tasks, and to prioritize and deliver on tasks each with competing priorities
· A "down to earth" customer focused outlook that will allow you to tackle a wide range of tasks across a diverse range of client and Business Partner types
· Proficient computer skills.
