Job Description - Sales Coordinator

The Role


We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to support our field existing business team for the Lower North Island region.  Based at our Wellington branch, you will be the ground force keeping things running smoothly; from handling customer escalations to building smarter sales tools and processes. You will coordinate between internal business units, support sales processes, resolve customer escalations, and use your analytical and tech skills to identify and improve how we work within the sales team.


This is an ideal role for someone with a passion for sales operations, who can balance fast-moving priorities with structured thinking and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Preparing sales materials, reports and documents for the sales team

  • Assist in the preparation of reports and dashboards

  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager – Account Partners to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements across tools, workflows and sales processes

  • Support onboarding and training for new sales team members, especially on tools, templates and internal procedures

  • Assist with the adoption and optimisation of sales enablement tools and platforms, specifically Power BI tools

  • Monitor common customer issues and identify trends to assist with the implementation of preventative process improvements

  • Working with internal customers to ensure better outcomes for customers and the sales team.

Previous experience with sales support and an understanding of sales operational disciplines and nature of the business or similar, is preferred.
