Our Distribution division supplies top quality and unique commercial plumbing products to the market; our Passive Fire division specialises in the application of passive fire solutions in commercial construction projects; our Contractors division specialises in the installation of mechanical, HVAC and hydraulic insulation. Across our team we are known for quality workmanship and delivering projects on time and in budget.We have a great opportunity for an energetic and driven customer service person to join our team and assist with turning our enquiries into sales and making sure we deliver for our customers. As well as working in the sales side of the group (distribution) you'll also support out Passive Fire and Contractors teams with administration support and backup.The role is a varied one and will include the following:Answering calls, emails and walk-in sales enquiriesProactively generating enquiries through networking and other avenuesPrepare and draft quotes for sign off and follow up with customersLiaise with other staff and suppliers on lead times and deliveriescommunicate with suppliers and end customers regarding shipment times and possible delaysBuild strong relationships with customers and suppliersProvide solutions and alternatives to customersProcessing orders in the system, pack orders and get ready for dispatchSupporting the contracts manager, project managers and site based teams including daily compliance checking and updatingPreparing monthly claims to be submitted for paymentAccurate record keeping of hours and materials used on projectsGeneral office administrationThis is a role with plenty of variety and opportunity.
