THE ROLE
We're seeking an experienced outbound sales leader to drive the next phase of growth for our Business Direct team.
Leading a team of outbound Relationship Managers, you'll be responsible for building a high-performing, customer-focused sales culture that delivers both customer retention and portfolio growth across an established SME customer base. With a strong focus on proactive customer engagement, you'll identify opportunities to strengthen relationships, increase share of wallet and maximise value across the customer lifecycle.
You'll play a key role in shaping the future direction of the team, embedding effective sales methodologies, driving outbound sales performance and fostering an engaged, results-driven culture. This is an opportunity for a leader who thrives on developing high-performing teams, driving sales excellence and delivering strong commercial outcomes.

You're a passionate and people-focused sales leader who knows how to build high-performing outbound sales teams and create a culture where performance, accountability and engagement go hand in hand. You thrive in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments and have a proven ability to drive growth through structured sales methodologies, strong coaching and proactive customer engagement.
You bring a track record of leading phone-based sales teams to success, while navigating change, embedding new ways of working and bringing people on the journey. Equally comfortable in the detail of sales performance metrics as you are motivating a team, you'll have the energy, resilience and commercial mindset to drive results while fostering a positive and engaging team culture.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Industry experience isn't essential. We're open to leaders from industries such as telecommunications, energy, financial services or other complex, high-volume outbound sales environments, provided you bring strong sales leadership capability and a passion for driving performance and growth.
