Sales Merchandising Executive

We currently have an opportunity in our Waikato / Bay of Plenty team for a passionate Sales Merchandiser.

The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring successful business partnership outcomes are achieved/maintained to the highest level. The ability to be agile will be key in this role as you will be responsible for ensuring Sales Excellence in line with Lions values and strategic direction across a broad range of Traditional Liquor and On Premise environments. As an engaged and passionate team member along with the responsibility for enabling a superior customer experience you will from time to time be required to assist the WAIBOP Field Sales team at peak periods via Merchandising and Event execution support.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be expected to apply your business knowledge in execution of the various Channel strategies that impact your customer base. Over time you will develop core skills using Lion Keys For Customers, PSS and the 8 Step Structured Call to grow internal & external stakeholder engagement.

To be successful in this role you must have:
• Fast Moving Consumer Goods sales or related experience
• Be able to demonstrate an ability to work across teams/functions
• In-depth knowledge of sales processes and Siebel would be highly regarded
• High levels of personal organisation
• An understanding of Category Management principals would be an advantage
• Above all a positive results focussed attitude will ensure you succeed in this role
