Sales Representative

bout the Role
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, we are looking for a driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role covers the Auckland and Northland region and is a great opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge within the steel environment. This role is focused mainly on our steel products (including structural, merchant, pipe & fittings, valves).
You will be responsible for:
• Developing and maintaining sales of core products
• Providing a high level of customer care and technical expertise
• Building new profitable business relationships while strengthening existing customer relationships
We are ideally looking for someone who has:
• Demonstrated sales experience in a similar or related industry.
• Product experience would be advantageous.
• Strong commercial understanding.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills. 
• Experience using a CRM system – desirable.
• A real customer focus and people approach 
• A drive to succeed and passion for our products and company
• Excellent work ethic, communication, and interpersonal skills
