Job Description - Sales Representative Timber & Building Supplies

SALES REPRESENTATIVE TIMBER & BUILDING SUPPLIES Our Company: Established in 1986, Wiri Timber is a family owned and operated company. We are dedicated to providing unparalleled quality and service in the manufacture of wall frames and roof trusses for the residential Auckland market. We compliment this with the sale and supply of a wide range of building materials. Our crew consists of result-focused individuals who operate as one big team. Together we strive to maintain our brand values of integrity, passion, quality and service.  The role: As a Sales representative/Account Manager your focus is on developing new business opportunities whilst nurturing existing customer relationships.  Based at our Manukau City branch your focus will be on managing your call cycle to successfully generate sales through customer engagement; creating opportunities to assist in anticipating their building requirements and in-turn satisfying their on-site needs. You will work along side internal departments such as; trade yard, sales support, estimating, design and manufacturing to ensure customer needs are continuously met or exceeded.  What we are looking for:  The ideal candidate will posses a natural sales ability, be confident in customer service, be proficient in English and Mandarin or Cantonese and have the drive and motivation to hunt out new business opportunities. Accompanied by:  Experience in the building/construction industry; experience in timber, especially frame & truss would be highly advantageous. A solutions-focused approach. Excellent interpersonal and planning skills. Demonstrates the ability to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations by maintaining and developing working relationships.
