About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Sample Receipt and Dispatch Specialist Technician to join our Isotrace team. This is a permanent full-time Tuesday to Saturday position, with the 40 standard weekly hours to be worked between 7am-7pm to meet the needs of the business. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely receipt, registration, and dispatch of all samples. That they are registered into the correct workflows, in line with the organisation's Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all team members working in sample receipt & dispatch have the required skills & training to maintain high quality output

• Plan workload to efficiently delivery required outcomes to meet both operational & quality targets
• Actively pursue opportunities to continually improve work processes
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of sample details
• Maintain proper storage conditions and inventory management for samples
• Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise workflows and improve efficiency

Requirements:

• Someone with an interest in & understanding of science and laboratory processes. Previous experience in a similar role, is not essential
• Specific laboratory and data management experience is an advantage
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with a genuine aspiration to meet & exceed targets
• Ability to work effectively and to be able to positively influence others in a cross-functional team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all areas of the business
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks
• Strong commitment to and proactive in the quality, safety, and continuous improvement space
