BUSINESS MANAGER – NEW POSITION

Permanent Salary position

We have a student roll of approximately 900 students from year 7 to 13.

The Business Manager role is a newly created position at the College and will hold the responsibility for financial, property and business management at the College.  Working alongside the Board and Senior Leadership Team to provide strategic advice and support and ensuring that best practice processes are in  place to allow the College to meet its long‐term financial and property objectives. 

This unique leadership role includes: 

• Demonstrated experience in a senior business management or finance management position and a proven track record of strong technical competence and leadership, preferably in a school environment or similar.
• Demonstrated experience managing services in a similar environment is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience leading budgeting and forecast planning linking strategic objectives to financial and operational forecasts.
• Experience working alongside the senior leadership team, acting as a stakeholder in the strategic, business planning, and decision-making process.
• Demonstrated ability to administer legislative, statutory, and contractual obligations.
• Previous experience in the leadership of business service staff.
• Highly developed organizational and administrative skills, ability to meet deadlines, and work autonomously.
• Fluent in Xero and ApprovalMax would be an advantage– with a passion for leading the school to have effective and efficient processes.
• School administration leadership experience an advantage.
• Undergo a police vetting check in accordance with the Education Act 1989 and the Children’s Act 2014
