This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that supports the delivery of National Memorials, this is a fixed term role out to 30 June 2027.
Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role
This role is responsible for all deliverables required to realise a memorial through to the construction phase. As a key member of the delivery team, you will maintain oversight of a complex programme of work focused on the initiation and planning phases and transitioning into the delivery and build phase.
The range of stakeholders with an interest in Memorials means working with a variety of central and local government agencies, mana whenua, defence forces, community groups/volunteers. Your ability to build and maintain relationships is key to being successful in this role.
Frequently working with and through third parties, you project manage the consultation, design and development of planning for a memorial and associated activities. This will include developing selection criteria, undertaking consenting processes and managing delivery timeframes.
You bring expertise in procurement planning and execution including sourcing cultural and design expertise and running consultation processes.

You’re a self-starter who can hit the ground running, enjoys working in a dynamic environment and can drive project delivery forward purposefully. Using your well-developed communications skills, you provide clear reporting and updates for our governance group.
