Senior Advisory Accountant (Wellington)

June 17, 2024 As Senior BAS Accountant in the team, you’ll be working closely alongside the Director and other accountants on a range of clients from different industries. Key duties:

• Preparation of financial statements, tax planning & other compliance duties
• Managing work flow and ensuring that the jobs are completed within the set budget
• Managing the relationship and contact with Clients
• Supporting the Directors & Manager with review work of junior staff.

The ideal candidate

• Past experience in a local or establisehd accounting firm at a heavy intermediate/low senior level and looking to step up
• Wide range of client portfolio: SMEs, Family trusts, Sole traders
• Comfortable in prepare a full set of accounts via Xero
• Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements
• Stakeholder management and ability to communicate directly with clients
• Ideally CA qualified or midway with being qualified.
