Senior Architectural Technician

This national Architectural firm is looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technician for their Christchurch or Auckland studio.

Role

• Create detailed technical drawings using CAD software.
• Translate design concepts into precise technical documentation drawings
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations and codes.
• Assist in selecting appropriate materials and components for construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop and refine designs.
• Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

Requirements:

• NZ recognised qualification - A relevant architectural qualification (technician or architecture).
• 8 years minimum experience post-graduation working in a New Zealand practice.
• Knowledge of the NZ building codes and standards.
• Be a competent and efficient user of REVIT 
• Demonstrated design ability and proven technical knowledge..
• Team player with exceptional collaboration, time management and communication skills
