Senior Associate Financial Services (Fixed Term Contract)

We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Associate/Lawyer to join our busy Financial Services practice, on a fixed term basis, to cover parental leave.

Our Financial Services team is a market leading practice with a top-tier set of clients across investment funds (KiwiSaver, retail funds and private equity/venture capital), financial services regulation and FinTech. We break new ground regularly, from cutting edge product development for banks and fund managers, to online platforms, payments, cryptocurrency and digital assets infrastructure. We don't expect a candidate to be across all areas, as there is scope to work to your strengths and experience.

Our team is ranked Band 1 for financial services/investment funds by both Chambers and the Legal 500, with both partners in the "Hall of Fame" for Legal 500.

As the ideal candidate you will have 7+ years' legal financial markets or corporate experience from another top tier law firm or financial institution. You will have a strong commercial approach, good academics and excellent technical skills as well first-rate communication skills that enable you to build lasting relationships both internally and externally.
