Role Purpose:
As a Senior Business Insights Analyst, you'll support the reporting & insights function providing quality analysis to inform decision making, monitoring, forecasting and stakeholder reporting.  The Senior Business Insights Analyst will conduct and review financial modelling for investments and valuation analysis. 
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare management reporting, KPI performance reporting, and operational reporting.
• Undertake regular analysis to identify and build KPI/SLA metrics and trends.
• Understand the needs of different audiences for reporting and articulating the 'story' by creating visualizations and reports that are clear and compelling, combining financial and non financial data.
• Monitoring and preparing regular valuations of financial investments.
• Adhoc financial analysis.
• Assist the data team to build and maintain dimensional data models.
• Assist with identifying and articulating process improvements to aid growth.

Qualifications:

• You will have 3+ years in analyst/financial reporting roles, ideally in the Financial Services, FMCG, or Infrastructure sectors.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or other related fields.
• Financial modelling experience with an understanding of financial concepts.
• Experience using PowerBI, other data analytical tools, and Advanced MS office skills.
• It's not a prerequisite but if you have an interest in automation tools like Python, Co-Pilot or Power Automate AND experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 that would be helpful, as would an interest in AI.
• CA or CPA qualified would be an advantage but it's not essential. If you are working towards a CFA qualification there is plenty of opportunity to pursue this side.
