At our cutting-edge laboratory, we are looking for a Senior Chemist with a strong background in GCMS, LCMS and ICPMS to join our Test Centre Team. As a Senior Chemist, you will play a key role in evaluating our highly regulated products for chemical content. You will work closely with the team to ensure that outcomes are turned around quickly, and that our products meet the highest international standards.

This role is ideal for a practical, hands-on chemist who enjoys delving into the intricacies of the chemical make-up of the materials our products are made of. Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Developing and validating GCMS, LCMS, and ICPMS methods for the analysis of complex matrices
• Reviewing and interpreting analytical data and writing scientific reports
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve analytical methods
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously and providing leadership to junior chemists
• Provide training and guidance to Product Development Engineers on sample preparation
• Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and quality control procedures
• Driving a process of continuous improvement of analytical processes and Quality Assurance procedures

Skills and Experience

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field with 5+ years of experience in GCMS, LCMS and ICPMS
• Strong background in analytical method development and validation
• Familiarity with bio-compatibility testing and toxicity
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize analytical methods
• Experience in managing projects and mentoring junior scientists
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with FDA, ISO-900, and ISO-17025 and other regulatory requirements and guidelines
