Senior Data Engineer / Architect - Rapid Progression

About Our Client: Our client, a well-known data consultancy, is a leading provider of data-driven solutions, catering to a diverse clientele across various industries. With a growing number of client requests for data builds, they are expanding their team to include a skilled Data Architect / Senior Data Engineer contractor to lead these initiatives.

Job Description: We are seeking a talented Data Architect contractor to join our client's team for approximately 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building data solutions from scratch and possessing the expertise to take ownership of this space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data architectures tailored to meet client requirements.
• Lead data build projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand data needs and objectives.
• Implement best practices for data management, security, and governance.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a strong portfolio of successful data projects.
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and database technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS S3.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in consultancy or agency environments is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
